The Jacksonville community mourns the tragic loss of Erica Jackson, 36, who passed away Saturday night following a chain-reaction accident on J. Turner Butler Boulevard near Belfort Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Erica’s SUV was caught in traffic behind other vehicles around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, when the unexpected accident occurred, taking her life far too soon.
Erica was a bright light to everyone who knew her—kind, caring, and full of life. She touched the hearts of friends, family, and community members with her warmth, her laughter, and her unwavering spirit. Her presence made ordinary moments feel extraordinary, and her memory will continue to inspire those who loved her.
