Two Children and Family Dog Killed in Overnight Mobile Home Fire in Escambia County
ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — A devastating overnight fire in Escambia County has left a community heartbroken after two children and a family dog were found dead inside a mobile home that was engulfed in flames early Thursday morning.
According to officials with Escambia County Fire Rescue, crews were dispatched to the scene just after midnight following multiple reports of a structure fire at a mobile home located in the 4000 block of the rural county area. When firefighters arrived, they found the home fully involved in flames, with heavy smoke pouring from every window and door.
