In Loving Memory of David Thompson
With heavy hearts, we remember the life of David Thompson, a beloved son, friend, and member of the Standish community, whose life was tragically cut short in a fatal automobile accident in Arenac County, Michigan.
David was known by those who loved him as a kind-hearted soul with a quiet strength and a genuine spirit. He had a way of making people feel seen and welcomed, whether through his warm smile, his willingness to help others, or his steady presence in the lives of those who depended on him. He carried a deep love for life and for those around him, leaving behind memories that will never fade.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, David was involved in a tragic crash at the intersection of U.S. 23 and M-65 in Arenac Township.
